Richard's Client Testimonial 1:
I contacted other agents via internet when I started looking for homes in Costa Rica. Richard Lacey was the only one who responded promptly and continued to do so as we corresponded with each other. When I met him, he was very professional and attentive to my needs. He showed me several homes and stayed within my boundaries and style of homes that I requested to view. Unfortunately, I could not find the perfect home so I decided to build a house and Richard found me the perfect lot with an awesome view! The entire transaction went smoothly from beginning to end and I believe It was because of Richard's knowledge and experience as a realtor in Costa Rica.
I would highly recommend Mr. Lacey to anyone who is considering purchasing property in Costa Rica. You will not be disappointed!
Richard's Client Testimonial 2:
Debbie, my wife, and l would love to recommend Richard We met Richard on a plane two years ago when he offered us to utilize his seat so we both can sit next to each other. At flight end we thanked him again and we learned that he was Richard Lacey and we recognized him as we were doing our due diligence prior to moving here. If you want anything to do with real estate you will easily find Richard . I learned very quickly that he was also a football/ soccer fan, and , we also liked in common the same English primer Football team . He gave us advise on where to go and what to do in Tamarindo.
Few months later we had vacation in Tamarindo with our daughters and Richard recommended a builder for us. Well, we hired the builder ,have a beautiful home here, and consider Richard as a good friend and neighbor. Richard is a kind and thoughtful person with passion to help. He is truly a most valuable resource and continually strives to help many with insightful input. He is a true professional with genuine charm.
Richard's Client Testimonial 3:
My wife, Tonja, and I decided we wanted to buy a place in Costa Rica. We were somewhat familiar with the area and wanted to be close to but not in Tamarindo. We came across Richard Lacey through some of his advertising and asked for his assistance. He showed us several places in Brasilito, Portrero and Playa Flamingo. All of the properties he showed us were on the mark with little wasted effort. When we asked to see a property, he arranged his schedule to coincide with ours and that of the seller. Once we selected the property he arranged for an attorney to represent us and a property management company to keep our condo occupied when we were not there. I would highly recommend Richard as a professional real estate representative, whether you are buying or selling.
Bill and Tonja Bell,
Richard's Client Testimonial 4:
Richard Lacey recently sold our condo on the west coast of Costa Rica in less than a week of listing. We found Richard very professional, helpful, and truly interested in our property and our concerns. His help and assistance in the listing and sale were of the highest professional grade. My husband and I would recommend him to any potential clients.
Thanks again Richard,

Tony has lived in Costa Rica for over thirteen years, originally coming here with his family to celebrate the millennium. Both of his children (Gina & Tony) completed high school at the Country Day School, which prepared them well for college.
His educational background is business administration with minors in finance and real estate (BS California State University at Northridge) and he owned and operated a real estate and development company in California where he was a licensed broker.
He has worked in real estate in Costa Rica since 2002 and formed El Tesoro Properties in 2008 prior to joining Coldwell Banker Tamarindo.
Tony’s Business Philosophy:
"Client care requires integrity, product knowledge and a commitment to service. Adherence to these principles guides us to higher levels of conduct and ultimately to higher levels of client satisfaction.
Tony's Client Testimonial 1:
We met Tony DiMaggio during a visit to Tamarindo in 2005. He showed us a home that was 90% completed. We made an offer and worked through a complicated sale with the seller/contractor which required that the home be completed to our specifications.
Since that time, we have developed a personal relationship with both Tony and his wife Laurel. They are part of our circle of friends in Costa Rica.
For years we have referred friends, who have been interested in investing in Costa Rica, to Tony. We do this with the confidence that they will be looked after by someone who understands U S buyers and will exercise sufficient oversight to insure that they are treated fairly.
Richard & Pam Russo
Colts Neck, N. J.
Tony's Client Testimonial 2:
Tony helped us find and purchase our property in San Pedro 9 years ago. He showed us other properties in Tamarindo so that we would have some comparisons before bringing us to the place where we inquired about first.
He also arranged for us to stay in one of the cottages on the property, which gave us a better feeling for it. We have not been disappointed, but due to financial hardships we have put our property back on the market, and of course we had Tony list it. He has brought other Brokers(not always an easy accomplishment)out to the property in order to give them a feeling for what we are offering in hopes that we will find the right buyer.
We are also lucky to call he and his wife Laurel our good friends and people we look forward to seeing each time we return to Costa Rica.
Cindy & Michael Phillips
Tony's Client Testimonial 3:
When we made our real estate purchase in Costa Rica several years ago, we began the transaction while we were there and it concluded after we returned to the United States. The transaction went without a hitch due in large part to Tony's knowledge and experience. Tony is a person of immeasurable integrity and always conducts himself in a professional and ethical manner. Since we are absentee clients, we have complete trust and confidence in Tony to always have our best interest at heart. He is a gem of a person and a top notch real estate professional. We couldn't imagine doing business with anyone else in Tamarindo.

I was born in Colombia and moved to Costa Rica at the age of 8. I fell in love with this country and have lived here ever since!.
Went to school in San Jose Costa Rica, and then in the USA. I studied Public Relations and Environmental science at University which has been my passion since i was young. I love to be involved with the local community and all kinds of events, fundraising and charities. I have been at Coldwell Banker for 3 years and I love meeting new clients, helping them find their paradise and settle in to life in the tropics. My job allows me to meet lots of new people and I love that.
We had so much fun at Buena Vista. Thanks for arranging that with Memo.
I also want to say many thanks for all that you have done. We have enjoyed Costa Rica and I have found you so helpful with everything and a pleasure to deal with that it was a very stress free vacation. When I do come back here hopefully you will still be doing what what you do.
Our last couple of days will be spent enjoying the sunshine and eating at great restaurants.
Tara, Kevin and Roy.
While my computer is still running here, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for your help during our stay.
When we first came to your office, we were in dire straights and in desperate need of assistance. Andrea was extremely compassionate, spoke with candor, and had a "can do attitude" that was of immense help.
In addition, Andrea has put us in contact with Steve, with whom we are working, preparing to view a little property that might be just what we are looking for at this particular time.
In addition, having gotten to know Andrea personally as well as professionally has been our great pleasure. I wanted to let you know what a tremendous asset she is to your company. She is a great treasure -- a one in a million.
We are -UNHAPPILY- home safe. Would much rather be back in Tamarindo. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay a joy ! We look very much forward to seeing you on our next trip to Costa Rica.
PURA VIDA !

Broker Associate Specializing in the Playa Negra area
He first visited Costa Rica in 1997. Like for many of you, little by little his vacations to Costa Rica became longer and more frequent. After falling head over heels for an Argentine girl in the town he frequented he made the leap to move to Costa Rica. Larry’s expertise was in small business management, which led him to help in sales and management of a local store in Tamarindo for a number of years. He then began working in a real estate office in Tamarindo. He stayed there for three years and always focused his energy on the areas south of Tamarindo. He noticed the constant demand in Playa Negra and decided to open his own independent office in the town where he lives.
Larry knows markets south of Tamarindo better than anyone. He has researched the available properties and has weeded out the good from the bad. He is not a “hard seller”. In fact, he prefers to let the buyers sell themselves. His honor and passion have helped many make their future Costa Rican dreams a reality. It gives him great pleasure to turn clients into neighbors.
Larry is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), a board member of the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors (CRGAR), and has the NAR “Certified International Property Specialist” (CIPS) certification. He is one of the few in the country that are bound by standard ethical professionalism. He is a founder and board member of the non-profit organization SalveMonos which helps area Howler Monkeys. He is also a founding member of the Nandamojo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Larry has a wonderful wife and three amazing children from five to 20 years old.
Larry's Client Testimonial 1:
Hi we hired Larry Graziano to help us sell our home and within a month of being listed he not only brought us a client, he sold it to them immediately! It was very easy working with him and the closing went very smoothly with his guidance of what was needed to be done before hand. I would recommend him.

Christina has lived in Costa Rica for 3 years. She originally travelled to the country 13 years ago, looking for adventure and surf. Upon returning home to New York, she knew one day she’d move. Ten years later, she packed up and took the plunge. Her business experience was not in real estate, but in diverse industries. The common thread being outstanding client service, honest and strong work ethic and high tech marketing skills.
Born and raised in New York, she graduated from the School of Visual Arts for photography. This eventually led to working for some of biggest names in the fashion and editorial industry, including SNL, and then became a photo editor for one of the largest agencies in NY. She felt it was time for a new challenge. She’d fulfill a long time goal; owning a business of her own and decided a clothing boutique would be the next adventure and seemed a natural fit.
She trained herself in opening a business in retail as she has no experience originally, but she’d be every face of the company from buyer, to accountant, marketing expert, sales associate and much more. After a 1 successful year of business, she opened her second boutique. During this time NY, she’d also study the real estate market, an interest she’d later cultivate in paradise. Fast forward 8 years, it was time for a new chapter.
Upon her arrival to CR, she trained as an SEO account manager for a marketing firm in Tamarindo, but always kept her eye on the market. Working in sales would marry the love for her home in this paradise with her skills in working closely with people, making connections and meeting customer’s needs. Christina uses diverse experience and skill to help people looking to start a new chapter of their own in this beautiful country. She understands your vision and is skilled in making them a reality.

Stephen, a native Californian, and Latino at heart, first visited Costa Rica in 1996 with his family, then started to come back every 2 years, first as an exchange student in 1998 at the Universidad de Costa Rica in San Jose, then again in 2000, where he worked as a canopy tour guide in the amazing Monteverde Cloud Forest. This is where he met his Costa Rican wife, Jenny, from Liberia.
Growing up in Southern California, close to Mexico, he became interested in Latin culture and the Spanish language from an early age. This ultimately led him south to Costa Rica, to learn the language and surf and play in its tropical water.
Having lived in the Tamarindo area for the last 10 years, he's acquired abundant sales and customer service experience within the Real Estate and Tourism fields and enjoys using his knowledge of the local area and it's diverse Real Estate options to successfully match clients with their dream property in paradise.
I am originally from Ottawa, Canada but feel as though Costa Rica was always where I belonged. I fell in love with this area on my first trip here in 2009 when I was looking to make my first investment. I continued to vacation here more and more each year and realized I needed to make it permanent. I have been through the property buying process myself and truly enjoy sharing that experience and excitement with our clients. I have since started a couple of successful businesses here and have really become part of several communities.
I have a solid knowledge and love for this area and hope to share it with you.
