It includes deep foundations, concrete construction, standing seam metal roof insulated against the heat and teak cathedral ceilings.
This home is powered by solar which was installed by Intitech with new batteries installed this year. The solar panels are located in the pasture on the property and serve the refrigerator, lights, ceiling fans, Sky TV, radio and stereo and washing machine. Backup generator is included. There is hot water in the kitchen and bathrooms along with hand painted tiles and sink in bathroom, kitchen, and bath.
Own water system from deep well of very good quality water, pumped to two large tanks in tower, located behind the bodega. Secured bodega is used for storage and laundry.
GUEST HOME is located beyond the main home. It was build from natural woods and has 2 bedrooms and sleeps five. This income producing rental home is currently on various vacation rental websites with a five star rating.
WORKER HOME is located at the rear of the property. Currently houses the Quidador.
The extensive shaded trails lead around property and to secluded beach in front. Only eight km from bustling Puerto Jimenez, Guanabana is an oasis of secluded tranquility, a short jump from groceries and town supplies.
Extensive plantings of Heliconias, ginger, teak, Ron Ron, bamboo, guyaba, bananas, papaya, mango, avocado, noni, avocado, wild almond and many species of citrus.
Abundant wildlife always present are monkey troops, sloths, coatis, tyras, otters in streams, iguanas, Scarlet macaws ever present, also toucans, hawks, green and red parrots, tanagers, flycatchers and dozens more bird species are frequent visitors. Ocelots seen at times.
