Welcome to Casa Ambar, a fully turn key new 3 bedroom home situated in a quiet residential community in the Los Jobos area just a 5 min drive to Tamarindo beach and the plethora of amenities this tourist town offers. It is also a 5 min drive to Villarreal giving you easy access to the rest of the airport, other beaches, schools etc.
This home was completed only last July. It was designed to incorporate modern styling with lots of light and spacious room while ensuring that the Tropical feel of Costa Rica remains in the form of local hardwood teak, palm and banana trees and of course, monkeys in the trees!
The community here consists of 6 homes which are all single family homes. There are no HOA dues here. The entry has an electric gate and a wonderfully pretty green wall of the local plant Limoncillo on both sides. Once the hardwood teak gates are open, you enter the parking area where there is ample room for 2-3 cars.
The home is shaped around the beautiful pool and porch area, taking advantage of the indoor/outdoor living that is so sought after here! The master bedroom, the 3rd bedroom and the kitchen living area all have oversized European manufactured glass sliding doors (2.6m or 8,5ft!) leading to the pool and porch area, making it oh so easy to get that morning swim or move seamlessly from the kitchen to the grill. The entire house has oversized porcelain tiles for added style and longevity.
As you enter the main home, you are greeted by the well-lit and well distributed kitchen and living area. The kitchen boasts a double door fridge freezer, induction stove, dishwasher and quartz counter tops, back splash and breakfast bar. There is plenty of storage in the bespoke hand made cupboards below the counter and under the breakfast bar. The best part is there is a good sized pantry and laundry room just around the corner from the kitchen. The living space is bright and airy, a dining table for 4 people is present, as well as the couch and a comfortable TV area with a 65" flatscreen wall mounted TV. From every part of this room you can see the pool, garden, porch and BBQ area, as well as the outdoor dining area!
The first of the 3 bedrooms is located to the right of the home. It benefits from the oversized sliding doors apparent throughout the home, in front of this is space to add a coffee table or reading nook with shade provided by the foliage of tropical trees. The ceilings are high creating a feel of space. There is a roomy ensuite bathroom here and an adequate bespoke hand made walk in closet. The king-sized bed is more than comfortable with both ceiling lights and his and her stylish hanging reading lights. Not bad for your guests!
There is a small corridor leading to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms with access to the back of the property. There are windows all the way which give light and a view of the nature to the neighboring property. The 2nd bedroom is currently utilized as an office, however it has built in storage and of course, the large sliders leading to the pool. This is a great place to have those all important zoom meetings, work in peace or, of course turn it into a comfortable 3rd bedroom. The bathroom servicing this bedroom is just down the hall.
The master bedroom. As you enter the outside pool area grabs your attention immediately and also offers plenty of light. Again, we have high ceilings, a ceiling fan, a spacious ensuite bathroom with stylish quartz counters and a bespoke hand made full wall-length built in closet for storage and clothes. The stylish his and her reading lights are again featured here in this bedroom.
Outside of the home, there is a BBQ area under the front porch adjacent to the outdoor dining area complete with ceiling fans to keep you cool. There is an area for sun loungers on the opposite side of the pool and open parking. Next to the parking area is one of my favorite features, the tropical outdoor shower screened by natural banana leaves.
