I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write a 5-star review for Dan Williams at Coldwell Banker Tamarindo. My girlfriend and I connected with Dan on one of his listings and he juggled his schedule to show us the home as we were leaving town the same day. Upon meeting Dan we found him extremely insightful, likable, and trustworthy. Dan had some great suggestions for how to add additional value to the property we were viewing. We weren't really thinking we would formally offer on the property upon scheduling the showing, but Dan's vision for the property and expertise gave us comfort and confidence to make an offer on a property in a foreign country. Dan did a wonderful job navigating our interests and his sellers, and we reached a mutually agreeable purchase price. Dan then made great introductions and referrals for us to skilled lawyers, contractors and property managers. 5 stars all around. Thanks Dan!

We had the pleasure of being introduced to Dan Williams by our daughter and her husband in July 2022. They purchased a condo in Tamarindo with Dan and he came highly recommended to us. We fell in love with CR (who couldn't) and when we returned home we contacted Dan to look at potential property in Tamarindo and the surrounding area for ourselves.

Dan was very professional and helped us to navigate the process of purchasing property in CR. He answered our "many" questions quickly and to the point. With his knowledge of the area and his real estate expertise, we purchased a home in Playa Grande. He was "our eyes" in CR and gave us an honest opinion of the property. Dan not only got us through the sale but provided referrals for legal representation, escrow services, site survey and the home inspection.

Dan was phenomenal to work with, I would highly recommend him if looking to buy a home in Costa Rica. I found Dan online and he was incredibly helpful over email as we searched for properties/worked to familiarize ourselves with the area. We visited Tamarindo over the holiday and he took time to drive us around, being honest with his opinion along the way. We found a house and after 1 million questions (from me, that he patiently answered) ... we ditched the idea and bough a lot in Playa Langosta. He was patient, professional and always helpful. We met Dan Williams in May 2022. He showed us several homes and amoung them was what turned out to be 'our' home. Move in day was July 2022! The home was not finished at the time of purchase and Dan was our eyes and ears as the home was completed (we live in Ontario, Canada). He was very attentive to details on our behalf and we were thrilled with the finished product. Once the home was purchased, he did not disappear. He provided us with much support especially with getting our internet up and running (we don't speak Spanish...yet!) and information like where to shop for specific items, different restaurants for different meals, things to do locally and throughout Costa Rica, and some insights about the area and Costa Rica in general. We were lucky to find him. He and his co-worker Julia have created a website with the information he gave to us and more. We have referred to it many times and are looking forward to using more of their suggestions when we return in February.

Dan is a very competent, dynamic real estate agent who works in the Coldwell Banker agency in Tamarindo. You will be able to appreciate his availability and his professionalism during the first contact and then throughout the course of the sales process. He always knew how to answer the many legal and tax questions until the signing of the sale of our house. We tested other agencies in the Brasilito area but we did not find a real estate agent as invested, honest and available as Dan. In summary you want to sell a property, I recommend Dan 100%, trust him you will not regret it
