Colinas de Playa Negra

Colinas de Playa Negra is the areas newest gated community in an area that is short on quality building lots with quality infrastructure. This community is located just under a mile to world famous Playa Negra beach (two or three minutes) and even less to the paved road to all points, Paraiso (two or three minutes). The beaches of Junquillal are about five minutes away. Playa Blancas white sandy beach is three or four minutes. Avellanas is less than ten minutes!

This project has ample green zones that all owners can use including a secure entry that is in permitting, a 1.25acre lot dedicated to the community for any number of uses (equestrian, soccer, field sports, community events), a nearly five acre area where a semi annual creek flows and creates a little lake in the rainy season, and of course, at the top of the mountain a large designated area for viewing some of the best sunsets the planet has to offer. Naturally, owners have internal roads where they can enjoy walks through the community and see a plethora of wildlife. Colinas de Playa Negra is one of various parcels in the area that is at the end of a ten mile secondary forest. As a consequence, we regularly see all kinds of mammals, tons of bird species (Audubon Christmas Bird Count ten years found well over 200 species) and many others.

Playa Negra is really the beach in the town of Los Pargos. The area has a lot of infrastructure including a 6000' private skate park that is open to the public, miles of beaches that even in high season are comparable empty, well over 20 quality restaurants from normal tico sodas to Michelin star quality, fishing, surfing, and much more.
